Our Community
FairPlay is not just a Spanish and salsa school. It is also a community, which includes our office staff, our teachers and most importantly our students, volunteers and donors, past and present.
We have a community here in Cusco, but also worldwide. We encourage everyone who has studied here, stayed with one of our families, volunteered through us or donated money to keep in touch, share their news and stay involved with the work we do. If you want to find out the latest news from FairPlay, check out our blog. We are always happy to receive messages from former students and volunteers, so please get in touch.
While you are in Cusco, the FairPlay Club is a great way to save money around town. Membership, which can be added to your FairPlay registration fee for $20 (or for non-FairPlay students can be purchased for $25), offers discounts at a range of:
Hotels and hostels
Restaurants
Bars
Tour agencies, internet and call centres
We will do our very best to help you settle in when you first get here, and to meet new friends at our twice-weekly social events. Our library, DVD collection and internet facilities are on hand during office opening hours – as are free tea and coffee - so you always have somewhere to relax.
For advice about life in Cusco, you can turn to our Cusco City Guide booklet, check out the Cusco and Peru F.A.Q.s page on this website, or quiz our knowledgeable staff. They will also be happy to give advice on travelling more widely in South America.
